A starchy dried grain that has a slightly sweet and earthy taste. Sims can grab a serving from the sheaf to use as an ingredient in recipes.

This ingredient can be purchased via my Brazen Delivery service. If you'd like to craft this you'll also need to install the Preserving Skill from the 'Optional' section.

If you have the Preserving Skill installed, this will add a new recipe for your sim to create a Maize Sheaf. Once created, that sheaf can be dried and a single servings of Maize can be collected from it when it's ready.

This comes with a set of mill appliances, one that is electric and one that functions off-the-grid. These mills will grind items into flour, powder, spice, and tea ingredients that can be used in my other custom recipes.

Preserving Skill

This mod adds a new Preserving skill to the game. With this skill, Sims can use drying, aging, and curing techniques to prepare and keep ingredients for future use. As they preserve more items, they will increase this skill and unlock a variety of new recipes. Mastering this skill gives them an opportunity to sell their crafted goods for a profit to the Fresh Farms Co-op!
